: All animal experiments were conducted in accordance with the Regulations for the Administration of Affairs Concerning Experimental Animals of China and were approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Guangxi Normal University (Approval Number: 202401-008). All procedures complied with internationally recognized guidelines for the use of zebrafish in research, including efforts to minimize animal suffering and distress. Specifically, adult zebrafish were anesthetized prior to cardiac cryoinjury. A small incision was made to expose the ventricular apex, which was briefly contacted (for 3 seconds) with a metal probe pre-cooled in liquid nitrogen. The fish were then immediately transferred to a 28°C water system for recovery and subsequent monitoring. Surgical procedures, anesthesia, and post-operative care were designed and performed to ensure animal welfare throughout the study.
