Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The trial will be conducted in compliance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (1996) and of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Ethical approval was granted from the London Dulwich Research Ethics Committee (REC) (16/LO/0436). The protocol and study have also been approved by the Health Research Authority (HRA) (Ref. 162093) and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for Clinical Trial Authorisation (Ref. 11387/0026/001). Patients receive an information sheet and provide written informed consent prior to participating in study-specific procedures.
