Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study has obtained ethics approval from NHS Scotland East of Scotland Research Ethics Service. Health Research Authority approval was not required for this study. Approval from Health and Care Research Wales has been obtained. Management Permissions have been obtained from NHS Tayside Research and Development and NHS Wales Cardiff and Vale University Health Board Research and Development. We will obtain written informed consent from all participants in the study and from the participants’ parents/guardians. The information for the study has been developed with the involvement of young people.The chief investigator will seek approval for any amendments to the protocol or other study documents from the sponsor’s representatives, research ethics committee, and NHS research and development offices. Amendments to the protocol or other study docs will not be implemented without these approvals.
