Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This trial has been approved by the research ethics committee of the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors. The study was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT03643640 (ClinicalTrials.gov) on 23 August 2018. Protocol amendments will be posted on ClinicalTrials.gov and communicated with the ethics committee. All trial participants will provide online informed consent before initiating any further study-related procedure. All procedures performed in the study involving human participants are in accordance with the ethical standards of the ethics committee, and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.

: BM, MW and FH are affiliated with Gaia, the e-Health company that funds this trial and that developed, owns and operates the Internet intervention that the trial evaluates. MW is Chief Executive Officer and founder of Gaia, BM is employed full-time as research director and FH is employed full-time as research associate.
