Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in Korea approved this protocol on June 29, 2017 (protocol registration number: 31361). It was also registered at the Clinical Research Information Service () on Dec 29, 2017. The trial registration number is KCT0002620. Written informed consent will be obtained from the patients’ next of kin. Central ethical approval has been obtained from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (No. 31361), but not from other centers, as participant recruitment has not started. However, we will not begin recruiting at other centers in the trial until local ethical approval has been obtained.
