Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval has been obtained from the Research Ethics Committee of the Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, Japan (2019085NI) and the Institutional Research and Ethics Committee of Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Mbarara, Uganda (IRB15/06–19). The trial has been registered on the University Hospital Medical Information Network Clinical Trials Registry (UMIN000037065).Participation in this study will be voluntary. Written consent will be obtained from all women who express a willingness to participate in the study. Each interview will be taken in a confidential and secure environment. All the research assistants will receive 2-day training sessions on data collection and ethical consideration before the data collection.
