: There are no ethical concerns regarding this trial. Both the experimental intervention and control intervention follow the treatment guidelines published by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and the Danish Health and Medicines Authority. Any participants can, at any time, withdraw their consent without any implications for future treatment at the clinic. Prior to commencing the trial, ethical approval was obtained from the regional research ethics committee (ID number H-18023136), and approval was obtained from the Danish Data Protection Agency (I-suite number 6553). During the trial period, data on serious adverse events will be collected and will be reported to the regional research ethics committee.
