: The Biomedical Ethics Committee of West China Hospital, China, approved the INTERACT3 study before the commencement of any patient recruitment. According to funding request from MRC, additional approval had been obtained from Research Ethics Committee of the University of Leicester, UK. Ethics approval was obtained in each site before site activation. Cluster Guardian consent (signed by General Manager or Chief Executive of hospital, or Head of Neurology/Neurosurgery/Stroke Department) for patients to receive the randomized care bundle to be implemented for acute ICH patients in Emergency Department, Stroke Unit, Intensive Care Unit or Neurology/Neurosurgery Wards. Written individual standard consent for the collection of data through in-person assessment and data extraction from medical records during the hospital stay and follow-up, and for release of personalized information for research purposes to allow centralized follow-up at 6 months following admission will be obtained from all patient participants or their person responsible.
