: The study protocol and all associated study documents such as information sheets, consent forms, study leaflets and Case Report Form questionnaires have been approved by the UoS Ethics and Research Information Governance Board (ERGO ID: 31911). The outline proposal was submitted to the HC Ethics Committee, who have agreed to support the study and confirmed that no further considerations are needed. Confirmation has been obtained that approval from the following external ethics boards is not required: HRA Research Ethics Service, Social Care REC approval, Her Majesty Prison Probation Services.All participants give consent to take part, initially at Stage 1 to police investigators in order to be considered for the Gateway Programme and to share their details with UoS Researchers who then obtain their full informed consent (Stage 2).
