: The trial was approved by the University of New South Wales Human Research Ethics Committee (HC191025). This trial has been registered on the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ACTRN12621000076875). A clinical trial notification has been submitted to the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (Application ID: CT-2020-CTN00088-1 v5) for nicotine vaping products as they are not registered products listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). The trial will be conducted in accordance with the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki (1996), the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007, updated 2018), the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (2007) and the current applicable regulatory requirements and any subsequent amendments of the appropriate regulations.
