: Participation will be voluntary, and all women will be informed about their option to withdraw at any time without this influencing their subsequent treatment. Written informed consent to participate will be obtained from all participants. The Regional Health Research Ethics Committee of Southern Denmark accepted the trial (version 3) on 15 February 2022 (Project-ID: S-20200021) and the Danish Data Protection Agency accepted on 17 May 2019 (Journal No. 19–16321), which secure the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Additionally, the randomised controlled trial is registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05277909) on 11 March 2022 and follows the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki []. Any important protocol amendments will be registered at ClinicalTrials.gov, reported to the Regional Health Research Ethics Committee of Southern Denmark and addressed in the primary trial manuscript.
