: This study received ethical approval from the Boston University Institutional Review Board (IRB No: H-41920) on 14 September 2021 and the University of Cape Town Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC Ref: 568/2021) on 10 November 2021. Written informed consent to participate will be obtained by community research workers from all participants. For participants aged 16–17 years, written parental consent will be obtained from a parent or legal guardian and written assent will be obtained from the participant. Any amendments to the protocol will be submitted to both committees and will only be implemented when approved by both. Amendments will also be communicated to the trial registry and DSMB as appropriate.
