: The study has been approved by the ethical committee of the University of Goettingen Medical Center as the primary study center [approval number 20/12/22, see Additional file ]. Any participation recruitment study center will either join the ethical approval of the University of Goettingen Medical Center or, if needed, will have the study approved by the respective responsible ethical committee before starting to include patients<i>.</i>The study is registered at the German Clinical Trials Register (DRKS) with the trial registry number DRKS00030526. The current study protocol is version 3.0 (March 27th, 2023). The trial will be conducted in agreement with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
