: This protocol received ethics approval from the Côte d’Ivoire ethical review committee within the Ministry of Health (Ref: 002–23/MSHPCMU/CNESVS-km) and the institutional review board of London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (Ref: 28390). Any amendments to the protocol and informed consent forms will be submitted for approval to both IRBs and participants. The trial was registered on clinicaltrials.gov (ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT05796193, registered on April 3, 2023).The study will be conducted according to the Declaration of Helsinki and the International Guidelines for Ethical Review of Epidemiological Studies [CitationRef removed].
