Declarations
:
: The study protocol has obtained approval from the Medical Ethics Committee of The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University (ID: 2022-SR-450).Before administration of any study drugs, each patient’s written informed consent needs to be obtained from their authorized surrogates because intubated and sedated patients can hardly sign medical documents themselves. In general, the consents will be signed by their closest relatives, such as parents, children, or spouses, who are considered to properly represent the participants’ presumed attitudes towards our trial.
: Model informed consent form is available from the principal investigator on request.
