: The DAN-PACT trial will be conducted in compliance with the present protocol and the Helsinki Declaration []. The DAN-PACT trial will meet the requirements from the Danish National Ethics Committee system and the Danish data protection laws (‘databeskyttelsesforordningen’ and ‘databeskyttelsesloven’ and the European General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). The protocol was registered with and accepted by the ethical committee of the region of Southern Denmark (komite@rsyd.dk; tele: + 45 76 63 82 21) on July 23, 2021 (ID Number S-20220044) and on on Dec. 22, 2022, prior to inclusion of the first participant. Any substantial deviation from the protocol will only be implemented after review and approval from relevant regulatory authorities.
