: The study received ethical approval from the institutional ethical advisory commission at Østfold University College (PRE-FER number: PREFER-2024–3-33017629). The Regional Ethics Committee (REC) has reported that “approval from REC is not required to carry out the project, but that it is the institution’s responsibility to ensure that the project is carried out responsibly concerning, for example, rules for confidentiality and privacy, as well as obtaining on-site approvals. The project falls outside the scope of the Health Research Act, cf. Sections 2 and 4 a.” (REC, decision application number: 823677). PRE-FER concluded that the study is legal, ethically justifiable, and in line with current norms of research ethics and the university’s values.
