: The ISCUD trial was approved on 05/22/2024 by the Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Institutional Review Board (IRB number: 202400466A3). Written, informed consent will be obtained from all participants or their authorized surrogates prior to participation in the trial.

: We are happy to provide a model consent form upon request to the principal investigator (PI) of the ISCUD trial. Currently, our consent form is available in Mandarin Chinese and English. Please see Supplementary Document 1 for the English version of model consent form. If the ISCUD trial expands to a multi-national and multi-center context, we will consider translating the consent form into other languages.
