: The study leadership, in conjunction with the NHLBI and NINR, has established policies and procedures for all study group members to disclose all conflicts of interest. Participating sites have mechanisms in place for managing all reported dualities of interest. Dr. Balas is currently a paid consultant for the American Association of Critical Care Nurses’ Healthy Work Environment Collaborative. She recently served as Co-Chair of the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s PADIS guideline update and as a member of the American Psychiatric Association Delirium Guideline Writing Group. Dr. Hetland's current research efforts are supported by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation through Grant GBMF9048 and the National Institute of Health through award R41NR020458. She is also the CEO of FamilyRoom, LLC. Dr. Gerlach serves as a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine Board/Council.
