Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical clearance was granted by St. Luke’s International University Research Ethics Committee as a multi-institutional review covering all collaborating universities in Japan, namely Kyushu University, Okayama University, and the University of Tokyo (approval ID: 24-RC135). In addition, ethical approval was obtained from both hospitals implementing the intervention in Bangladesh: HFRC (approval ID: IERB/42/Res/Feb/2025/09/Ex) and TMSS (approval ID: TMSS/TMC/EC/25/800).Informed consent will be obtained from all participants prior to the intervention by healthcare professionals trained for this research. All the participants can withdraw their participation at any time during the study period. The reasons for discontinuing participation will be recorded.
