: The B. antidysenterica in this study was collected from Ethiopia, which is not an endemic species. The sample collected was from a wild habitat, not from any private land section. No permission or licenses were necessary for the plant analyzed in this study. This study adhered to institutional and national guidelines governing the use of cultivated plant materials for research purposes. The collection and processing activities complied with the relevant local legislation and international regulations, including the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), as the plants used in this study are not listed as endangered.
