: Informed consent was obtained from all participants in the cohort. This study, which included the collection of human stool samples and their examination for helminth infection using microscopy and real time PCR, was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand (MUTM 2020-032-01). Informed consent was obtained from all individuals.
