: The study protocol received clearance from the Ethics Committee of IRCCS Sacro Cuore Don Calabria hospital (Comitato Etico per la Sperimentazione Clinica delle Province di Verona e Rovigo) on 13 January 2021 (Prot. Negrar 2020-69). All samples used in the study were from patients who signed an informed consent form to donate their samples for research purpose at the time of blood sampling for routine diagnostic analyses; the results of this study did not influence the clinical management of patients whose sera were used. Before analysis, laboratory and demographic data were uncoupled and samples re-coded. Excel databases with demographic and laboratory data were stored separately, both protected by password.
