: Capturing and sampling of animals was approved by the ethical committee of Pasteur Institute of Tunis (reference number 2017/11/I/LR11IPT03). Animal handling, euthanasia, and disposal of dead animals were performed following the guidelines of the guiding principles for biomedical research involving animals. Blood samples from dogs were collected by veterinarians according to the good practices of veterinary medicine.
