: For human landing catches used in field <i>Ae. albopictus</i> sampling, informed consent was obtained from all the participants in this study. During the study period, there were no <i>Aedes</i>-borne disease cases, and a follow-up was made at 3 months following the end of the study to ensure that none of the participants were positive for <i>Aedes</i>-borne pathogens. The Shanghai Huangpu Center for Disease Control and Prevention (HPCDC) through the HPCDC Ethical Review Committee granted ethical approval (HPCDC-LL20190302) for this study.
