: The study was approved by the Zambia National Health Research Ethics Board (ref # 1197-2020), the PATH Research Ethics Committee (ref # 1460046-5) and Tulane University (ref # 2019-595). Written informed consent was recorded from an adult household member at all household mosquito collection sites. Children recruited into the seasonal cohort who were aged 7–14 years provided assent for participation, with written consent for all cohort participants granted by a parent or caregiver of the child.
