: The study protocol was in alignment with national and global guidelines, and owners of all dogs were fully advised of all study procedures prior to signing informed consent. The sarcoptic mange study was approved under protocol number 011.20/23 and the otodectic mange study under protocol number 010.20/23, both approved by the Animal Use Ethics Committee (CEUA) of CTA during the meeting held on 5 December 2023.
