: This was a multi-center collaborative study involving self-identified African American subjects recruited primarily at Emory University (recruited as part of the GENESIS study and Emory African American Inflammatory Bowel Disease Consortium), Johns Hopkins/Rutgers (recruited as part of the Multicenter African American Inflammatory Bowel Disease Study), Cedars Sinai Los Angeles, and Mt Sinai New York, as described in [].
