: The <i>Klebsiella</i> Isolates sequenced for this study were originally generated by the routine clinical diagnostic microbiology service at QECH, therefore individual level consent was not required. Ethical approval for this study was granted by the University of Malawi College of Medicine Research Ethics Committee (COMREC) (P.11/18/2541) and isolates were shipped under a Nagoya Protocol compliant Access and Benefit Sharing agreement between the Government of Malawi and the Wellcome Sanger Institute.
