: Fresh tumor samples from cancer patients were collected for implantation into nude mice under a protocol approved by the Ethics Committee for Clinical Research (PR(AG)484/2017) and an associated written informed consent. Procedures involving human specimens were conducted according to the principles of the Helsinki Declaration. Experiments were conducted following the European Union’s animal care directive (2010/63/EU) and were approved by the Ethical Committee of Animal Experimentation of the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute.
