: The study is part of the IRCCS Burlo Garofolo project RC #24/2017, approved by the Institutional Review Board and by Friuli Venezia Giulia Independent Ethical Committee. Collection of samples was done after obtaining the signed informed consent by the patients’ parents/guardians in the project “Comparison of the Genomic Profile of Children and Adult Onset SLE Patients approved by Clinical Hospital of Ribeirão Preto Medical School and Federal University of Pernambuco Research Ethics Committees (CAAE 50139415.8.0000.5208).
