: Ethical approval was obtained for the current study from the regional ethical review board in Umeå, Sweden (2022-06-27). Ethical approval for the BARFOT cohort including the multicentre biobank was approved in Lund, Gotenburg, Stockholm and Linköping, Sweden (398-01, 282-01, 02-345, 01-263). The study followed guidelines from the Helsinki declaration and the management of the database was according to ISO 9001. All patients signed a written consent to participate.
