: This study included Mendelian randomization (MR) analyses using publicly available summary-level data from genome-wide association studies (GWAS), all of which had received prior ethical approval from their respective institutional review boards and obtained informed consent from participants. No new individual-level human genetic data were collected for the MR component, and no additional ethical approval was required. All animal experiments were reviewed and approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Chongqing Medical University and conducted in accordance with institutional and national guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals. The clinical study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Kaizhou District People’s Hospital, Chongqing (Approval No. 20240227).
