: The study was performed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union. All stool samples were routinely submitted for isolation and identification of bacterial enteropathogens, and no examinations were performed other than requested. All samples were pseudonymized before performance of the <i>Arcobacter</i>-specific isolation procedures. Therefore no informed consent was obtained.
