The study protocol received approval from the Ethics Committee of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (Approval Code: IR.KMU.REC.1404.274) and adhered to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. The trial was prospectively registered at the Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials (IRCT) (Identifier: IRCT20250818066901N1) on 24 September 2025, prior to the enrollment of the first participant. No identifiable images of participants were used. All graphical illustrations were schematic.
