Approval was granted by the ethics committee of King Juan Carlos University under the register number 1901202103121 and the approval of the ethics committee of the Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla (Valdecilla Health Research Institute, IDIVAL) under the registration number of 42//2021. Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study. This randomized controlled trial was designed and reported in accordance with the CONSORT (Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials) guidelines.
