Ethics approval and consent to participate
: We confirm that ethical approval was obtained from the independent Ethics Committee in Belgium and Ethics and Scientific Review Committee in Sierra Leone. All parents or legal guardians of all children provided written informed consent to indicate they understood the purpose of the study, were aware of the procedure, and were willing to allow their child to participate in the study. The exploratory and clinical studies were performed in accordance with current International Council on Harmonization guidelines on Good Clinical Practice, applicable regulatory and country-specific requirements, and the Declaration of Helsinki.
