: The study was approved by the Committee for Human Research and Ethics Review Board of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) [CitationRef removed]. The researchers obtained written permission from the Ghana Federation of Disability Organizations and the Ghana Blind Union, in the Ashanti Region before conducting the study [CitationRef removed]. All study participants provided written informed consent, which was witnessed by at least one family member or friend. The participation in the study was voluntary, and so participants could withdraw from the study if they felt any inconvenience.
