Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval for the project was obtained from Makerere University School of Public Health Higher Degrees, Research and Ethics Committee (286). The project was registered at the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (HS 1790). Participation in the baseline, implementation and evaluation phases of the project was voluntary and participants provided written consent before their involvement after receiving a clear explanation about it.
