Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The Ethics Committee at Mpilo Central Hospital made a ruling for all retrospective studies to go ahead in the institution from 2016 onwardsas long as the data remained anonymous. No ethical issues arose during the study as all the data remained anonymous with no identifying personal data. Minutes of the Committee’s inaugural meeting held on the 13 October 2016 set out the requirements of all the studies at the institution.
