: MXK is a senior at ‘Iolani School in Honolulu, Hawai’i. With a cumulative weighted GPA of 4.5, MXK is a five-time recipient of ‘Iolani’s Top Scholar Award. MXK recently worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Summer Cancer Research Training Fellow and plans to pursue a career in translational research and hopes to eventually obtain an MD & PhD. Outside of the lab and classroom, MXK is a leader within the community and serves as an ‘Iolani School Proconsul.
