Participant recruitment for pathogen surveillance began Oct 27th of 2021 and continued until the last sampling event on Oct 31st of 2023. All participants provided formal informed written consent. Research on human subjects was carried out in compliance with the Helsinki Declaration. Oral health surveys were provided to participants following the last sampling event.
