: This study received an exempt determination from the University of Washington Institutional Review Board (IRB #00019295). The research involved anonymous, voluntary opinion surveys conducted with adult participants, after obtaining informed consent, during open workshops at an international scientific conference. No personal identifiers or health information were collected. Rwanda and Brazil served solely as the physical locations of the conference workshops; no research activities, recruitment, or institutional partnerships occurred within local institutions in either country. As confirmed by the University of Washington Human Subjects Division, no local ethics committee approval was required under these circumstances.
