: This study involves secondary analyses of existing, de-identified data from the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) and the Framingham Heart Study (FHS). All original cohort protocols were approved by the local Institutional Review Boards or Ethics Committees at each participating institution, and all participants provided written informed consent at enrollment.
