: All patients or their relatives gave written consent for plasma extraction and inclusion in the experimental cohorts. All clinical investigations were conducted according to the principles expressed in the Declaration of Helsinki, carried out according to the international Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and approved by the institution ethics committee.Human brain tissue was provided by the Brain Bank of the Fundación CIEN, the BioBank of the Hospital Clinic-IDIBAPS and the Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón following the guidelines of Spanish legislation.
