All human samples were collected from national Brain banks: Banco de Tejidos Neurológicos, Fundación CIEN-Unidad de Investigación Proyecto Alzheimer (UIPA: Madrid, Spain), and the Biobanco en Red de la Región de Murcia (Biobanc-Mur, Murcia, Spain), that obtained informed consent from all patients or their relatives.
