: All data sources mentioned in the study are publicly available summary level information that requires no ethical approval or consent. The Religious Orders Study and Rush Memory and Aging Project (ROS/MAP) studies were each approved by an Institutional Review Board of Rush University Medical Center. All subjects gave written informed consent, signed a repository consent, and an Anatomic Gift Act. All samples in the GEO dataset were obtained from the Human Brain Bank of the Brazilian Aging Brain Study Group (HBB-BABSG) of the University of São Paulo Medical School, in accordance with the standards of the local ethics committee.
