: All animal experimental procedures were conducted in accordance with the European Community Council Directive 2010/63/UE and approved by local ethics committees (CEtEA-CEA DSV IdF N°44, France) and the French Ministry of Education and Research (A17_083 authorization), and in compliance with the 3R guidelines. The human CSF samples were collected at the Center of Cognitive Neurology, Lariboisière Hospital with approval by the Ethical Committee of Paris Diderot University Hospitals (CEERB Bichat University Hospital, Paris, France). The human brain lysates were collected from a brain donation program of the NeuroCEB and the CNR-prion brain banks. Consent forms were previously signed by either the patients themselves or their next of kin, in accordance with French bioethics laws.
