: All the procedures in this study was conducted in accordance with the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its later amendments. The research protocol was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Principality of Asturias (CEImPA nº 2022.266). Specific project approvals for tissue use were granted by the Ethical Committees of the Neurological Tissue Bank (NTB) of the Hospital Clinic-FRCB-IDIBAPS (Barcelona, Spain; approval numbers A1-c24003 and A1c23001) and the Principado de Asturias BioBank. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants or their legal representatives by the contributing biobanks at the time of donation. The biobanks ensure that all donors provided consent for the use of their tissue and clinical information in biomedical research.
