: The patient was admitted in the children emergency ward of our healthcare facility. He was managed by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals after his parent signed the hospitals informed consent for patient management. The ethics and research committee of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital approved the publication of what was considered a rare case to inform better understanding and management of the condition.Consent for publicationWritten informed consent was obtained from the patient’s legal guardian for publication of this case report and any accompanying images.
